HYDRA-STEER

   This series of pictures is for a product custom designed and manufactured by my primary customer Elk River Machine Company http://www.ermc.com This is an amazing piece of equipment. ERMC Hydra-Steer trailers have set the standard for steering trailers for over thirty years. These trailers are steered from the tractor's cab! This model was done in SolidWorks 2006 by the in-house Elk River Machine Company engineering staff. It was saved as a VRML file from SolidWorks and imported into 3ds Max. It was fully rigged in 3ds Max for animating it but as of now we have only done still images of it. I hope to do an animation of some day. The cityscape in the scene was assembled using some of my own models and models from www.TurboSquid.com It you are a modeler then you are most likely familiar with this site. I will at credit for the models used in this space.

The Tractor in this series of images is modeled out of my memory of tractors. It is not a model of any particular manufacture. I did use some of the components from a tractor model from TurboSquid. Like the fuel tanks, wheels and ladders. I'll list the credit for that model here later.
